  3. Click through the installation wizard, choosing the desired options as you go.

Connecting to the Grinnell Storage Server

1.) Click on the Site Manager button in the upper left corner. Alternatively, click File → Site Manager…

2.) The Site Manager window will pop up. If you have not set up your Grinnell connection yet, click on the New Site button.

3.) Choose a name for the new site. Set the Host field to ftpserver.grinnell.edu. Set Port to 21. From the Servertype list, choose FTPES - FTP over explicit TLS/SSL.

4.) Enter your Grinnell username in the User box. If you would like Filezilla to remember your password, choose Normal from the Logontype box and enter your password in the Password box. Otherwise, choose Ask for password (with this option, you will be prompted for your password every time you connect).

5.) Click Connect. A message may appear about an untrusted server certificate. Check the box that says Always trust certificate in future sessions and click Ok.

6.) If everything is successful, Filezilla will connect to the storage server and display the contents on the right-hand side. In the future, you can connect to the storage server by simply opening Filezilla, clicking the arrow next to the Site Manager button, and choosing the site profile you set up in the menu that drops down.
